Hi, my name is Bricole but you can also call me "Bee"🐝.
I am the owner of the registered trademark Equestrian Life®.
I didn’t originally create Equestrian Life. The brand originally operated as a mobile retail trailer at horse shows and events, and when I came across it, I immediately saw the potential of what it could become.
The name itself felt incredibly powerful to me because Equestrian Life means so much more than simply riding horses. It represents the way horses become part of your identity, your peace, your purpose, and your everyday world.
Unlike many equestrians, horses were not part of my childhood. I didn’t start riding until I was 34 years old, but the moment I experienced that connection, my life changed forever.
Within six months of learning to ride, I bought my first horse, and from that moment forward, horses became central to my universe. Losing my first horse was heartbreaking, but through that loss, I realized something important. Horses were no longer just a hobby to me. I knew they always needed to remain part of my life.
Fast forward ten years...Today, I’m fortunate to share that journey with my beautiful mare, Tessa, whose partnership continues to inspire me every single day.
Because I came into the equestrian world later in life, I knew I wasn’t going to become a trainer, compete at the Olympics, or follow the traditional path many lifelong riders dream about. But I also knew one thing with absolute certainty: horses had become part of who I was, and I couldn’t imagine a life without them.
The barn became my safe haven. Whether I’m riding Tessa, grooming her, or simply spending quiet time with her, it’s where I find peace. It’s where the noise of everyday life disappears.
Like every horse owner knows, loving horses is also a commitment. They require time, dedication, and yes, they can be expensive. I wanted to build a life where horses would always be part of it while creating something meaningful at the same time.
Growing up, I watched my mom build her own business. She showed me what it meant to work hard, believe in yourself, and create something that was truly your own. I didn’t realize it then, but she was planting the seed that one day I might do the same.
After spending more than two decades helping build someone else’s dream, I found the opportunity to pursue one of my own. Equestrian Life® gave me the chance to combine my passion for horses with my eye for design, entrepreneurial spirit, and love of creating meaningful brands. More than anything, I wanted to build a life where horses would always be part of it.
Equestrian Life® became the bridge between my professional experience and the life I wanted to build. It’s more than a business to me. It’s a way to create a future where horses will always be part of my everyday life while building a brand that celebrates the lifestyle so many of us share.
The 2026 launch of Equestrian Life® marks the beginning of something much bigger than an online store. My vision is to build a lifestyle brand for equestrians who carry their love for horses everywhere they go, not just while they’re riding.
Whether you’re at the barn, in the office, running errands, or simply dreaming about your next ride, I want Equestrian Life® to be something you can wear with pride because being an equestrian doesn’t end when you step out of the saddle.
Today, our collections feature lifestyle apparel inspired by horses, freedom, connection, nature, and my love for boho-inspired style. Over time, I hope to expand into accessories, apparel, horsewear, and thoughtfully designed products that celebrate every discipline and every rider.
One of the most meaningful parts of Equestrian Life® is the custom horsehair jewelry I create by hand. Each piece is crafted using your horse’s mane or tail, creating a keepsake that celebrates the extraordinary bond between horse and rider. Whether you’re honoring a horse who is still by your side or remembering one who has crossed the Rainbow Bridge, it is an incredible privilege to create something so personal. Every piece is made with care, respect, and love.
